Terms & Conditions

Version 2026-08 · Effective August 2026

1. The service

Jaha ("the Service") is an AI meeting assistant for Microsoft Teams. When invited to a meeting by your organization, it joins the call, captures and transcribes audio, answers questions in chat and by voice, and produces summaries, action items, and analytics. The Service is provided by Jaha ("we", "us") to the organization that installed it ("you", the "Customer").

2. Your account and responsibilities

Access is granted through your Microsoft 365 organization after admin consent. You are responsible for how the Service is used inside your tenant — including telling meeting participants that an AI assistant is present and recording, and complying with the recording-consent laws that apply to your participants' locations. You must not use the Service to capture conversations of people who have not been informed, or for any unlawful purpose.

3. Plans, billing, and usage

Paid plans are billed monthly per organization, in advance. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of "bot-hours" — time the assistant is connected to calls, rounded up to the minute. Usage beyond the included allowance is billed at the plan's stated overage rate. Plan limits (users, voice answers, connectors, document attachments, retention) are enforced by the Service and described on the pricing page. You can upgrade at any time; the new plan takes effect immediately and starts a new billing period. During the current development phase, payments may be simulated and no charge is made.

4. Your data

Transcripts, recordings, summaries, action items, uploaded documents, and connector content remain your data. We process them solely to provide the Service to your organization, scoped to your tenant. Data is retained for the period your plan defines and deleted afterwards. Audio and transcripts are processed by third-party AI providers (speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and language models) under their respective data-processing terms. You can request deletion of your organization's data at any time.

5. AI output

Answers, summaries, and extracted action items are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are assistance, not advice — verify anything that matters before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on AI output.

6. Connectors and third-party services

Connecting external tools (Google Drive, Jira, Notion, Slack, Microsoft 365, and others) is optional and authorized by you through each provider's own consent flow. We access connected content only to answer your organization's questions and to maintain the search index that powers those answers. Revoking a connector stops future access; its indexed content is removed.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without an uptime guarantee outside of Enterprise agreements. Scheduled auto-join depends on Microsoft's notification infrastructure; when it is unavailable, manual join remains possible. Support is provided per your plan tier.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time; paid periods already started are not refunded pro-rata unless required by law. We may suspend the Service for non-payment, abuse, or a breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination your data is deleted after a 30-day export window.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content generated by AI models.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The version you accepted is recorded with your billing profile.
