Seats, hours and how the bill is computed
Per-seat pricing that matches how teams actually work: assign seats to the people whose meetings Jaha runs, let everyone else be recognised free, and pay for the period’s peak — never for a seat you hesitated over.
What a seat is
A seat is a person you have assigned one: someone who signs in to Jaha, or whose meetings Jaha works — transcribing, answering, recapping, delivering. Seats are assigned by name from your synced directory, on the org map or a person’s page, and can be reassigned as your team changes.
Who is free
Everyone else. Your whole directory is recognised by name at no cost — so speaker attribution, the org map and answer scopes work for every colleague, seated or not. Guests from outside your organisation are never seated and never billed, whatever meetings they appear in. Disabled directory accounts can’t hold seats at all.
When someone leaves your organisation, directory sync notices and frees their seat on its own — offboarding is not a billing chore.
Pooled bot-hours
Bot-hours meter the time Jaha actually sits in calls. Every paid seat contributes hours to one workspace-wide pool — 8 per seat on Team, 15 on Business, 25 on Enterprise — so a heavy-meeting week for one person draws on the whole team’s allowance instead of hitting a personal cap.
If the pool runs dry, nothing stops: meetings keep working and the overage is billed per hour at your plan’s rate. No meeting is ever cut off mid-call over a meter.
Peak billing, explained honestly
The period’s bill is the period’s PEAK of held seats — the highest number you held at any point, not a sum of every add and remove. Freeing a seat and assigning it to someone else within the same period costs nothing extra, because the peak never moved.
No surprise charges
Every seat action shows its price before it happens: assigning a seat quotes exactly what it will add to the current period — and the quote is computed by the same code that later computes the charge, so the two cannot disagree. Reusing a seat the period already paid for quotes as free, because it is.
The tiers at a glance
Free: 3 people, 5 meetings a month — a real plan, no card, no clock. Team: from 3 seats, $12 per seat monthly or $10 billed annually, 8 pooled hours per seat. Business: from 5 seats, $29 monthly or $24 annually, 15 pooled hours per seat, unlimited spoken answers, all connectors, SSO. Enterprise: from 25 seats, volume pricing, 25 pooled hours per seat, SCIM, your retention and residency.
Annual billing is roughly 17% under monthly. Upgrades apply immediately; the plan page in your dashboard always shows the same numbers this page does.
